Stockton police asking for help solving man's murder

STOCKTON - Stockton police detective are asking for the public's help to help them find the person or persons responsible for the fatal shooting of a man on Oct. 26.

Manuel Rangel, 36, was found mortally wounded at a residence on the 5900 block of Fern Street at 2:54 a.m. that Saturday morning, according to police department spokesperson Officer Joe Silva.

Investigators do not have any suspects or a motive for the shooting, he said.
