STOCKTON, CA - A Stockton bar owner is using Facebook to build a list of customers welcomed at his establishment after 9 at night -- and to keep troublemakers out.

Finnegan's Irish Pub and Grill's Tony Mannor said the crime problem in Stockton prompted the Facebook friends guest list.

"It's sort of a reservation system," said Mannor. "We just have preset spots for the people that come in and support us all the time."

Mannor wants to know who his late-night customers are and if they're not on Facebook, he just urges them to come to his pub during the day so the staff can recognize them.

"This community that we're trying to build using Facebook as a catalyst has been nothing but positive," Mannor said.

Not all agree with the guest list concept. Some Facebook posters say Mannor is being racist.

Mannor disagrees. His clientale is different races and ages.

"People are going to say what they're going to say," Mannor says.
