VACAVILLE, Calif. - One person was shot when four masked gunmen broke into a Vacaville home Wednesday night.

The man, who is in his early 30s, was shot twice in the chest, according to the Solano County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to the hospital and got treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The gunmen forced their way into a home on the 5100 block of Poplar Road around 6:15 p.m. and tied up the five people inside, four of which lived at there. The men demanded certain items from the people, but the sheriff's office did not disclose what items the robbers took.

Two other people were pistol whipped by the gunmen, the sheriff's office said. No other information was released about the victims.

The gunmen wore black ski masks and black gloves during the home invasion. They were seen driving away from the area in a silver Toyota Camry. The sheriff's office did not have any other information on the suspects.
