SACRAMENTO, CA - A man authorities describe as being a violent pimp claims he is innocent.

From behind bars at the Sacramento County Jail, Percy Love III denied ever being a pimp. Instead, he said a specific officer is out to get him.

"He's harassing me," Love said. "He's stalking me."

The officer works for the Sacramento Police Department. He was also deputized as a Special Deputy United States Marshall. He is currently assigned to the FBI Innocence Lost Task Force.

News10 could not get a hold of the officer by the time of this story and has chosen to not name him.

Love said the officer is targeting him based on a personal vendetta that stems from 2009. Love said the officer arrested him on pimping charges that were later dropped.

"He has a personal vendetta," Love said. "So, he's like a fish trying to get a worm."

According to the federal complaint, that officer said Love is a violent pimp that has trafficked minors and adults. The officer also said Love has used extreme violence against at least one of his victims.

Love's latest run in with the law goes back to July.

Documents show police were called out to Love's Natomas home on Dragonfly Circle on a domestic dispute.

Authorities said the alleged victim had texted her sister to "call the cops." She also said her ear was bleeding from being hit and that her boyfriend had held a gun to her head, the complaint said.

When asked about his relationship to the alleged victim, Love answered, "some girl that I was dating."

Love said he met her at a strip club.

"She's talking about I had guns to her head and I don't, that's not even in my M.O.," Love added.

Love was taken into custody on domestic violent, a felony warrant and possession of ecstasy.

During their investigation, officials learned Love pimped his alleged victim for at least one month. He allegedly posted sex ads online from the Sacramento area to the Bay Area.

Authorities also said Love beat and even burned his alleged victim with a cigarette numerous times.

Love denies those accusations and said his alleged victim is lying.
