SACRAMENTO - Workers spent the day Wednesday and Thursday getting the Cesar Chavez Memorial Park ready for the 'Long live the Kings' rally.

Thousands of people were at the rally Thursday night, which kicked off at 5 p.m.

It was the kind of celebration that you would typically see when a team wins an NBA championship. But in Sacramento's case, it was more important than that, because now, the team is here to stay.
