Suspect wanted in North Sacramento armed robbery

SACRAMENTO, CA - Police search for a man who robbed pay day loans business in North Sacramento Friday morning.

The man entered the Advance America on the 1500 block of West El Camino around 10:30 a.m. and threatened the clerk with a handgun, the Sacramento Police Department said.

The suspect ordered the victim to give him money and then demanded to be let into the safe. He then stole money in the safe and then ran away from the scene.

Police said the man was captured on surveillance video at the business. He is described as a black man in his 20s, 5'8" tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds, with a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white athletic shoes and a black ball cap with a possible Adidas logo.
