'Need for Speed: Most Wanted' was developed by Criterion Games and is published by Electronic Arts.

A new downloadable content pack for Electronic Arts' Need for Speed: Most Wanted hit Origin for PC, PS3's PlayStation Network, and Xbox 360's Xbox LIVE Arcade last week from developer Criterion Games.  With the DLC, known as the Ultimate Speed Pack, players are treated to a selection of high-end, high-powered automobiles.

"This pack has five new cars.  They're some of the fastest and most exotic cars in Need for Speed history," NFS:MW Associate Product Manager Jayme Figueroa told's Game Guys.  "Those cars come with 25 new challenges for the game and 70 online multiplayer milestones."

The new cars available in the DLC are the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1 LM, Lamborghini Aventador J, Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, and Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.  All five of these high-performance vehicles are made so racers can take down their friends at break-neck speeds.  Players, however, shouldn't worry about always needing the fasted car available because there is more needed than just speed order to win races.

"These cars, while they're really fast, they're also hard to handle," explained Figueroa.  "So you need to be a real pro at Most Wanted to do really well with them."

Racers who can't handle these ultra-exotics are probably better off sticking with what they know.

The Ultimate Speed Pack DLC for Need for Speed: Most Wanted is available now for $9.99 (PS3/PC) and 800 Microsoft Points (Xbox 360).
