ROSEVILLE, CA - So, what does an 81-year-old woman do after cheating death in a dangerously daring skydiving adventure?

According to Oakdale resident Laverne Everett, you take on NASCAR.

Bill McAnally, owner of the BMR NASCAR racing team, supplied the car and professional driver Eric Holmes handled the driving at the All American Speedway in Roseville.

"Yeah, I'm a racing fan," Everett exclaimed.

Holmes and Everett zipped around the All American Speedway several times, reaching speeds in excess of 80 mph.

"I could have went faster," said Everett as she laughed. "I could have went faster."

"It's good; bad things happen to some people and it turned out for the good, so she is really happy,"said Holmes.

Everett will return to the track on Saturday, when she'll serve as Grand Marshal of NASCAR's K&N Pro Series West at the All American Speedway.
