FAIRFIELD, CA - Nine people were taken to the hospital after a suspected drunk driver collided with two vehicles on Sunday night, said Fairfield police.
The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. when the driver of a Ford pickup truck traveling on Waterman Boulevard near Hilborn Road crossed over the center line. At that time the truck sideswiped a minivan and continued driving until colliding head on with second minivan, according to police.
Nine people were transported to various local hospitals but that none of the patients sustained major injuries. One of those injured was a child.
