CARMICHAEL, CA - A man convicted of six counts child molestation was sentenced to prison Friday.

Mark L'Ilith was convicted by a jury on Aug. 27 for sexually molesting a 14-year-old boy, Sacramento County District Attorney's Office Spokesperson Shelly Orio said.

Court documents said that in October 2011, on two different dates, L'Ilith engaged in sexual conduct with the victim in the handicap bathroom stall at Carmichael Library, located on 5605 Marconi Avenue. The victim was at the library doing homework when he met L'Ilith. Orio said the boy did not know L'Ilith before the incident.

During the investigation, Sacramento County sheriff's detectives identified L'Ilith as a suspect and arrested him. With a search warrant, investigators found multiple emails from L'Ilith to strangers where he suggested they meet in the library bathroom to engage in sex acts.

L'Ilith was sentenced to six years and four months in prison.
