TRACY, CA - A man was stabbed and killed in a Tracy home after getting into an argument with another man Wednesday morning.
Phillip Sanchez, 22, suffered multiple stab wounds when an argument with another man escalated into a fight, Tracy police Capt. John Espinoza said.
Officers arrived at 200 block of West Whittier Avenue around 12:17 a.m. after getting a call from someone who also lived in the home with Sanchez. Medics helped the man at the scene and transported him to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, where Sanchez later died of his injuries.
Espinoza said during the investigation Wednesday, police were able identify two suspect who fled to Modesto.
Officers arrested Victor Garcai, 32, and his sister Samantha Garcia, 31, who was identified as an accomplice to the murder. Both suspects were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
Espinoza said Victor Garcia was on parole on county probation under realignment.
