3 arrested, 3 at-large in connection to Vacaville jewelry store armed robbery

VACAVILLE, CA - Three people were arrested after an armed robbery at a downtown Vacaville jewelry store Thursday morning, but three other suspects are still at-large.

Vacaville police received multiple 911 calls around 11 a.m. about a robbery at the DeBartolo Jewelry Store at 528 Main Street where six masked men left a black Dodge Magnum and entered the store armed with hammers and handguns, Vacaville city spokesperson Mark Mazzaferro said.

One suspect held the only employee at gunpoint while the other smashed the glass cases and stole the merchandise.

Witnesses told police the suspects filled duffle bags with the jewelry and fled the scene in the Dodge Magnum, Mazzaferro said.

Sometime later, an officer spotted the car on westbound I-80 heading towards Fairfield. The officer followed the vehicle until backup arrived. Mazzaferro said the stop was high-rick, but they officers were able arrest the three suspects in the car.

Adrian Landers, 18, Derrick McCann, 18, and a 16-year-old boy, all three from San Francisco, were arrested on robbery charges the 18-year-olds were booked into Solano County Jail; the minor was taken to Juvenile Hall in Solano County.
