OAKDALE, CA - A 16-year-old girl was abducted and raped in the Oakdale area on Wednesday night, according to the Oakdale Police Dept.

The teen was walking home from school along the 6000 block of W. J Street around 1 p.m. when a man, armed with a knife, approached her from behind and forced her into a black pickup truck, said Detective Brian Shimmel.

According to Shimmel, the man then covered the girl's eyes with an unknown item and drove her to an unknown location near Oakdale. The man then forced the girl to remove her clothes and raped her, said Shimmel.

Following the rape, the man made the teen get dressed and then dropped her off in an undisclosed area of Oakdale, threatening to kill her if she told anyone, Shimmel said.

The victim was only able to describe the man as being in his 40s. She described the truck as an older model, black, beat-up pickup with damage to the passenger side.

Anyone with information regarding this case was asked to contact Detective Brian Shimmel at 209-847-2231.
