TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA - Buying the wrong type of beer can apparently upset more than a person's palate.

According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Sonora resident, Danielle Holt, was arrested after her boyfriend told deputies she had slapped him for refusing to go back to the store after buying her the wrong type of beer.

Holt's boyfriend called 911 around 9:30 p.m. after receiving his alleged punishment. He informed arriving deputies that Holt had gotten drunk and talked him into walking to the store to pick up some more beer. When he returned with the wrong suds, Holt got angry, ordered him to go back to the store, and walloped him when he refused.

According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived and arrested Holt, who began fighting and screaming. As they were physically removing her from the house, Holt kicked a chair at her boyfriend, then kicked out at the deputies as they were placing her in the back of the patrol car. Finally, deputies used a Hobble restraint to safely transport Holt to County Jail where she was booked for Battery and resisting arrest.
