The fund for a school bus monitor in New York who was filmed being mercilessly taunted by seventh-graders has reached more than $380,000.

The video showing 68-year-old Karen Klein being bullied by near Rochester, N.Y., has become an international rallying point.

At the same time, a deluge of people are demanding harsh punishment for the boys.

Police say Klein does not want her tormenters to face criminal charges. That's in part because of the criticism the boys from the suburb of Greece are enduring.

The verbal abuse was captured in a 10-minute cellphone video recorded Monday by a middle student and posted to YouTube. Hundreds of thousands of people have viewed it.
