FOLSOM, CA - Folsom fire department paramedics were sent to a local gymnastics facility Thursday evening to administer CPR to a teen found unconscious in the facility's swimming pool.

Battalion Chief Bret Worthington said the 17-year-old girl was in a pool used for swimming lessons at Ricks Gymnastics, 370 Plaza Drive. 911 dispatchers received the call around 5:25 p.m.

The girl was still unconscious when she was transported to a local hospital, Worthington said. Her condition was unknown.

The circumstances surrounding the possible drowning were unclear, according to Worthington.
