STOCKTON, CA - A Southern California doctor was found not guilty Wednesday of stealing the watch of a man who'd just suffered a fatal heart attack.
That alleged incident happened last summer at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton. Dr. Cleveland Enmon was in the emergency room that day as a visiting doctor.
Retired Manteca police officer Jerry Kubena was the patient. Enmon was accused of taking Kubena's rolex as he was being treated.
Enmon took the stand in his defense during the trial. A Stockton jury needed just over an hour to reach the verdict of not guilty.
Kubena's family is also claiming wrongful death against Enmon in a civil suit.
