ROSEVILLE, CA - A major Roseville intersection was closed most of the day Sunday after a two-car collision sent four people to the hospital, according to a Roseville police spokeswoman.
The crash happened at the intersection of Pleasant Grove and Washington boulevards around 10:40 a.m. Sunday, Roseville police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said.
A woman black Cadillac sedan was traveling westbound on Pleasant Grove when her car collided in the intersection with a green F-150 Ford pickup headed northbound on Washington.
The woman suffered major life-threatening injuries. A man and two young boys in the pickup were also hurt in the crash. The extent of the injuries to all four victims was not immediately known, Gunther said.
Investigators were looking into the cause of the crash.
Pleasant Grove Boulevard was closed to through traffic at Foothills Boulevard and motorists were asked to take alternate routes. Gunther said the intersection was expected to be reopened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
