Student Stabbed at Sierra College

ROCKLIN, CA - An altercation among several students led to a stabbing on the Sierra College campus in Rocklin Tuesday afternoon, say Rocklin police.

Police say one man was stabbed and transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center where he was in surgery. His condition was not known nor if he is a student.

Police say the alleged attacker, Paul Heintz, 22, of Rocklin, also sustained injuries but unrelated to the stabbing. He was also taken to Sutter Roseville for treatment.

The confrontation took place in front of Sewell Hall about 2 p.m. and involved two or three men and one woman, police say.

No other names have been released.

Sierra College, which is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, was not placed on lockdown.
