3 suspected of robbing Stockton boy, 13, of food, textbook at gunpoint

STOCKTON - A young Stockton boy was held up by three individuals Monday for what amounted to a textbook and some food, police said.

According to Stockton police reports, the 13-year-old boy was followed by the three men while walking from the area of Wagner Heights and Thorton Road to Sandringham Way and Sandringham Court around 5:02 p.m. One of the men approached the youth, pointed a gun at him and ordered him to give up his items.

The boy complied and the suspects took his food and a school book, police detailed.

All three suspects were described as black individuals between 17 and 20 years old, 5'8 to 5'9 tall, weighing 160 to 180 pounds.

The person with the gun was wearing a large, white sweatshirt at the time, according to police.
