SACRAMENTO - Two days after unveiling their first player, Sacramento Republic F.C. unveiled the uniforms (or kit to the soccer fan) they will be wearing in their inaugural season.

Team President Warren Smith, Technical Director Graham Smith, Head Coach Preki, midfielder Rodrigo Lopez and the Tower Bridge Battalion fan club were all on hand at U.C. Davis Children's Hospital Thursday morning to unveil the home and away strips.

"It's very exciting," said Tower Bridge Battalion member Beth Barnes. "It's great to be part of something from the very beginning like this."

The uniforms, home in deep red and away in white, both feature a dark diagonal bar from left shoulder to right hip and are emblazoned with the team sponsor, U.C. Davis Children's Hospital, across the chest.

Response to the kit, both live at the event and on Twitter immediately afterward, were very positive.
