2K Sports has released a new trailer for the upcoming next-gen version of NBA 2K14 allowing gamers to check out its new "Eco-Motion Engine".
The Eco-Motion Engine allows 2K to stop using pre-set canned animations that play out exactly the same each time. Now, the players on the court will be adjusting their movements based on what's going on around them. Jumpshots, for example, will change midair, dribble moves will alter in-between dribbles, and players will land in a different manner following every thunderous dunk or block. In short, 2K's Eco-Motion Engine makes it so that no two animations in NBA 2K14 will ever appear exactly the same.
Developed by Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, NBA 2K14 is currently available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. Rated "E for Everyone" by the ESRB, the game will also be coming to PlayStation 4 November 15 and Xbox One November 22.
