MODESTO, CA - A Patterson man who preyed on a young child  for nearly a year before he was caught, was convicted of multiple molestation charges, reports the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office.

Dallas Randolph White, 57, was found guilty by a Stanislaus County Superior Court jury on March 19 of sexual intercourse, oral copulation, sexual penetration with a foreign object, and lewd and lascivious acts with a child.

The crimes were committed on a child under the age of 10 between Aug. 1, 2010 and June 11, 2011, according to court documents.

With the verdict and White's previous conviction for robbery and two stints in prison, he faces up to 99 years in state prison when he is sentenced May 7, the D.A.'s office says.
