CERES, CA - Residents of the Casa Grande apartments on the 3100 block of Whitmore Road were evacuated while police searched their complex for two suspected bank robbers.

The pair robbed the Bank of America on nearby Mitchell Road a little after 11 a.m., according to police. The suspected robbers were seen going into the apartment complex.

Police used loudspeakers and deployed a non-lethal stun grenade, known as a flash bang to enter a particular apartment unit where it was thought the duo might be. No one was inside.

Witnesses reported they did not see any weapons.

No descriptions of the robbers were provided.
