LAKE COUNTY, CA - Crews work to contain a 3,000-acre fire, which rages on in Lake County.
As of Saturday, over 500 crew members fought to control the blaze, which is at five percent containment.
According to CAL Fire, the flames are located in a very steep and hard to reach area.
The fire is west of Scott Valley Road, just east of Ukiah. Nearly 300 people and 40 buildings are threatened by the Scotts Fire.
However, evacuations for the Blue Lakes area have been lifted.
CAL Fire officials said the cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
