Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Just days after winning the starting quarterback job over free-agent pickup Matt Flynn, Russell Wilson played just one quarter in the Seattle Seahawks' final preseason tuneup prior to the regular season.
Wilson threw for 72 yards on 5-of-11 efficiency, while Flynn completed 11- of-13 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's 21-3 win over the Oakland Raiders.
The Seahawks, who closed out their second perfect preseason in franchise history, open up the season on Sept. 9 in Glendale against the Arizona Cardinals.
Kregg Lumpkin carried the ball 20 times for 71 yards.
Matt Leinart was 3-of-11 for 14 yards with an interception and Terrelle Pryor completed 6-of-9 passes for 55 yards for Oakland, which commences the year on Sept. 10 at home against the San Diego Chargers.
The Seahawks jumped out to a 21-0 lead before the Raiders added a late Eddy Carmona 31-yard field goal to get on the board with 15 seconds left in the game.
Steven Hauschka nailed a pair of field goals, 25 and 29 yards respectively, before Vai Tua punched it in from two yards out to give Seattle a 13-0 halftime lead.
Flynn flipped a four-yard score to Cooper Helfet late in the third quarter, but Hauschka missed the extra point.
Jaye Howard forced a safety midway through the fourth to make it 21-0.
