The country singer is in trouble with the law again.
Randy Travis, 53, was arrested Tuesday night in Texas (no city given) on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after crashing his car, reports TMZ.
Travis apologized in February after he was arrested on a charge of public intoxication outside a North Texas church.
AP reports that Travis was naked when he was arrested.
A Pontiac Trans Am registered to Travis had driven off a road west of Tioga, Texas, around midnight Tuesday, Tom Vinger, spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, tells AP.
Travis refused sobriety tests, Vinger said, so a blood specimen was taken. The test results are pending. Travis was released this morning on $21,500 bond Wednesday morning pending an appearance before a judge in Sherman, about 60 miles north of Dallas.
Vinger said Travis made threats against Texas Highway Patrol troopers and was not wearing clothes at the time of his arrest. Grayson County Sheriff's Sgt. Rickey Wheeler said Travis also faces a charge of retaliation or obstruction.
A Travis representative said there would be no immediate comment on the arrest.
