Police renew plea for missing, at-risk North Sacramento man

NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA - It has been four weeks since a man Sacramento police described as at-risk went missing from his North Sacramento home.

On July 11, David Adebayo, 65, left his home on the 3400 block of Winter Park Drive sometime between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. the next day, according to Sacramento police.

Adebayo would walk to the Natomas Wal-Mart shopping center on Truxel Road twice a week to look for recyclables, police said. He also frequented recycling centers near West El Camino Avenue, Truxel Road, Northgate Boulevard and Silver Eagle Road.

Adebayo is an African-American man, 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair.

It was unknown what Adebayo was wearing at the time of his disappearance, police said.
