WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - With temperatures forecast in the 100s this weekend, West Sacramento police have put out a plea for information on the whereabouts of an 80-year-old woman missing since Tuesday.
Georgina Crespo was reported missing by her daughter Friday, according to police.
Crespo was described as Hispanic, Spanish-speaking, 5 feet tall and 105 pounds. She has a medium/dark complexion, gray hair and hazel eyes. She should be wearing blue jeans, a brown corduroy jacket and carrying a green reusable shopping bag.
Police say Crespo frequents the Southport shopping center in town.
Crespo does not have dementia, say police, but may not know where she is if outside a 1/2 mile radius of her home. Her daughter says her mother is from Texas and may be trying to go back there.
The missing woman is supposed to take medication for high blood pressure. Her family doesn't know if she has money or food with her.
Police say Crespo disappeared for 24 hours last month and was found in West Sacramento without further incident.
Anyone who has seen Crespo was urged to contact the West Sacramento Police Department at (916) 375-6474.
