Sketch released of suspected Foothill Farms sexual attacker

FOOTHILL FARMS, CA - Deputies released a sketch of the man suspected of attempting to sexually assault a woman whose car had broken down on Verner Ave. in Foothill Farms on May 7.

According to Deputy Jason Ramos of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Dept., the woman was waiting by her vehicle for assistance from a friend when the man approached and offered to help. When the woman refused, the man pulled her a short distance to a nearby wooded area, exposed his genitalia and said he was going to sexually assault her, said Ramos.

According to the woman, her attacker had a large, sheathed knife at his side, but never withdrew the weapon during the assault.

A friend who had been called by the woman for vehicle help during the assault, causing the attacker to flee the scene, said Ramos.

Arriving deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the man.

The suspected attacker was described as a black man between 40 and 42 years of age. He was listed at approximately 6'4" tall, weighing 220 pounds, with a stocky build, dark complexion, short, curly hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a dirty white tee shirt and camouflage pants.
