Woodland library damaged in arson

WOODLAND, CA - The Woodland City Library was damaged in arson Saturday morning.

Woodland police responded to the library at 250 1 st Street around 7:45 p.m. to a vandalism report, Sgt. Frank Ritter said.

When officers got to the scene, they found a fire, which was contained to a specific area and did not cause significant damage.

Ritter said the investigation into the arson is on-going; the motive for the felony has not been determined yet.
