TRUCKEE, CA - A Nevada man was arrested Wednesday for his suspected robbery of an electronics store in Truckee earlier this month.

According to Sheri Whinery of the Truckee Police Dept., officers responded to early morning calls of a commercial burglary at Carlson's Electronics at 10607 West River St. on March 7.

Through continuing investigation of the case, 24-year-old Matthew Joshua Stanaway of Incline Village was identified as a suspect in the case, and was also named as a suspect in multiple unsolved burglaries in the Tahoe area, said Whinery.

With the assistance of the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, Truckee Police obtained a search warrant for Stanaway's home. During the search, detectives found all of the stolen property from Carlson's Electronics, Whinery said.

Washoe County and Placer County Sheriff's Departments were also able to recover numerous stolen items from thefts occurring in their jurisdictions, said Whinery.

Stanaway was booked into the Nevada County jail.
