MODESTO, CA - Residents of an east Modesto home where three people were killed early Saturday morning were targeted by the killer, according to police detectives.

Investigators say the deaths of Edward Reinig, 31; Alyxandria Tellez, 19; and David Siebels, 16, were not a murder-suicide.

Detectives have not offered a motive or named a suspect or suspects.

An 18-year-old woman who lives at the home on the 700 block of N. McClure home survived the shootings and called 911 from a closet where she hid.

Police in the nearby city of Ceres re-arrested the woman's boyfriend Sunday night on allegations that he held her captive and beat her in a previous incident.

Modesto police have not said if there's a link between the two cases, or if the boyfriend is a suspect in the killings.
