SACRAMENTO - What do Mikuni Sushi and social media have in common? They are both the center of attention at an upcoming seminar called Winning Local.
Winning Local's goal is to inspire, motivate, connect, and train small business owners and entrepreneurs to win in business and give back to this awesome community. It's taking place on April 28 and is free.
"Our focus for this one-night event is to help small business owners get inspired and learn the latest tools and strategies to succeed, while getting connected with the area's top business leaders," said Alejandro Reyes, event organizer and co-founder of SacTweetup.
Sacramento's very own Taro Arai, renowned master sushi chef, owner of Mikuni Sushi, and author of "Abundance: Finding the American Dream in a Japanese Kitchen" will be the event's keynote speaker. Reyes says one of the big questions Arai will answer that night is how he helped grow the Mikuni brand and what it takes to build a successful business in any economy.
Attendees will also hear from some of Sacramento's next generation of leaders including Reyes - who will talk about going deeper than "Social Media" by getting deep into the heart of your customer and providing memorable customer experiences.
"We've seen the power of hosting the SacTweetup for the past 2 years and have created the largest social media community in Sacramento because we understand the importance of business relationships," Reyes said.
