Light Rail Gold Line service down from Historic Folsom to Watt/Manlove
SACRAMENTO - Passengers on Light Rail's Gold Line service had a rough commute Tuesday morning after a train ripped out power lines near Mayhew Road and Folsom Boulevard.
A Regional Transit worker on scene had no information on how the incident happened but confirmed the train had ripped out the power lines and was disabled. They expected the train to be towed from the scene shortly after 5 a.m.
A bus bridge was put into place for Gold Line passengers between the Historic Folsom and Watt Ave. stations.
No information was provided on when service and power would be restored.
