Vacaville police drug/weapons probe leads to 7 arrests

VACAVILLE, CA - A Vacaville police weapons and drugs investigation led to the arrest of seven people last Friday.

None of the suspects live in Vacaville.

Police Sgt. Rick Elm said search warrants were served at homes in Dixon and Vallejo. Recovered were three firearms, one of them stolen; 10 ounces of methamphetamine and $7,000 in cash.

Arrested on suspicion of possession of meth, drug possession while armed, and being a violent felon with access to a firearm was Irish Donohue, 21, of Dixon. Elm said Donohue is a document member of the Family Affiliated Irish Mafia (FAIM) gang.

Also arrested on various drug and/or weapons and/or probation violation allegations were Kacey Mertz, 25, of Dixon; Dempsey Azich, 20, of Vallejo; Carlos Miranda, 18, of Antioch; Kalyn Decarlo, 18, of Vallejo; Jonathan Blakely, 19, of Vallejo; and Mark Rhea, 23, of Pinole.
