TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA - A number of drivers have spun out on Highway 49 near Rawhide Road in Tuolumne County, reports the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office.
Traffic has come to a standstill and an ambulance with a patient was unable to get through, said the California Highway Patrol.

CHP units responding to the scene reported from 50 to 75 vehicles involved. Drivers were traveling at slow speeds so the injuries were moderate to minor, Guy said.
