Sacramento Kings player DeMarcus Cousins suspended from team

SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was suspended for unprofessional behavior.

Basketball Operations President Geoff Petrie announced Cousins' suspension Saturday, the day after Cousins was benched during a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Petrie said Cousins was suspended indefinitely because his behavior is detrimental to the team.

This is Cousins' third NBA season; he averaged a team high of 16.6 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.35 steals per game.
