FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - California egg farmers have filed another lawsuit against a landmark state law requiring that chickens in cages be able to stand up and stretch their wings without touching the walls of their cages.

In a lawsuit filed in Fresno County Superior Court on Friday, a group of egg farmers argues Proposition 2 is unconstitutionally vague. They say it's not clear whether it requires that all the chickens in a cage be able to stand up and stretch their wings at the same time or individually.

Egg farmers have filed two previous suits against the law - one using a similar argument. A federal court judge ruled against them in that case in August.

The Humane Society of the United States, which sponsored Proposition 2, says the egg producers are "judge shopping."
