CLARKSBURG, CA - An 85-year-old Clarksburg woman was the victim of a home invasion robbery Monday night, says the Yolo County Sheriff's Office.

The crime took place on the 3300 block of Jefferson Boulevard. Sgt. Lance Faille said deputies were alerted at 11:30 p.m. that two men forced open the front door of the woman's home and pointed a gun at her.

At gunpoint, the robbers demanded the woman tell them the combination to her safe which they then proceeded to clean out, as well as take other valuables from her home, Faille said.

The victim was not hurt.

She described the robbers as white, in their 20s, of average height and build. They wore black ski masks, gloves and clothing.

Anyone who can provide information about the crime was asked to call Det. Dean Nyland at (530) 668-5202.
