GRANITE BAY, CA - Granite Bay High School was placed on lockdown Thursday while sheriff's deputies searched the campus in response to a suspicious note found on campus.
Placer County sheriff's spokesperson Dena Erwin said the note indicated a bomb was on campus. It wasn't clear where the note was found.
Students and staff were ordered to shelter in place a little before 10:30 a.m.
The ensuing search turned up empty and the lockdown was lifted around noon.
