SACRAMENTO, CA - Gas prices are falling just in time for the start of summer.
According to Gasbuddy.com, gas prices in the Sacramento region have dropped about 40 cents per gallon in the past month, 12 cents in the past week.

"I like it, it costs a lot to fill my car," driver, Charlie Dixon said. "I know prices will probably go back up soon though."
Gasbuddy.com experts said the decline should last through the July 4th holiday thanks to decreasing wholesale prices and California refineries ramping up to full capacity.
Drivers could expect to see an average of $3.75 a gallon by the end of June.
