Activision co-founder Alan Miller has joined data mining and monetization company GamesAnalytics as a strategic advisor and Director of North American Operations.

GamesAnalytics was founded in 2010 by UK game industry specialist Chris Wright and analytics expert Mark Robinson to serve the global online games market.

"I'm tremendously excited to be working with GamesAnalytics because the company provides a big win-win solution for both game players and game publishers," says Miller in regards to his appointment.

Alan Miller has more than 30 years experience in developing, marketing and distributing interactive games.  In 1979, he co-founded Activision and served as VP Product Development.  Since that time, Miller has launched a number of video game brands including Test Drive, Jack Nicklaus Golf and Hardball.  Since 2001, Miller has exclusively focused on the development, distribution, and monetization of online games.

"Alan is a great addition to the team," Chris Wright, GamesAnalytics CEO, commented.  "His decades of experience in the games industry are incredibly valuable to us in our work for leading online game publishers.  Alan understands the great value that our products can add by data mining the massive amounts of player information stored by online game publishers, especially in free-to-play Facebook games, MMO's, and virtual worlds that generate revenue from the purchase of virtual goods."
