'Doodle Jump Adventures' for Nintendo 3DS and 'Doodle Jump Journey' for DS.

Following up the release of Doodle Jump for Kinect for Xbox 360 earlier this year, GameMill Publishing and Lima Sky have announced it is bringing the franchise to a pair of Nintendo's handheld gaming systems.  Developed by Smoking Gun Interactive, two new versions of athe mobile game will be out later this year with Doodle Jump Adventures in the works for 3DS and Doodle Jump Journey for DS.

"Nintendo is synonymous with great platformers, adorable characters and on-the-go gaming," noted Igor Pusenjak, co-founder of Lima Sky.  "Doodle Jump is a natural fit on Nintendo's handhelds.  We're thrilled to bring the Doodler to audiences that have yet to meet him while bringing great new adventures to our existing fans."

True to the original, these two titles maintain the gameplay, characters, and art style that made the original title the #3 top paid iPhone app of all time.  Doodle Jump Adventures introduces exclusive content such as a new "Adventure" mode featuring 48 levels with fun challenges, new power-ups, and menacing boss battles for a experience exclusive to Nintendo's handheld console.  It also has the "Endless Mode" that longtime Doodle Jump fans know and love.  The Nintendo DS' Doodle Jump Journey will boast the franchise's three original themes (Classic, Jungle, and Space) in Endless Mode.

Doodle Jump Adventures and Doodle Jump Journey will be available later this year for Nintendo 3DS and DS, respectively.  Both of these titles are rated "E for Everyone" by the ESRB.
