GX Gaming's Manticore gaming keyboard features 16-million color key backlighting.
GX Gaming, the gaming series of peripheral maker, Genius, today introduces the Manticore, a highly customizable gaming keyboard with mechanical-like keys with a 16 million color backlight palette in 3 separate color zones.
The Manticore features backlit keys that are "mechanical-like" and are divided into three separate zones. Each zone's backlight can then be set to a different color thanks to the keyboard's 16 million RGB color palette and four brightness levels. This wide range of color combined with the three key zones provides virtually unlimited customization options.
The keyboard also features eight macro keys. Three different setups are possible, which allows for a total of 24 macros. Furthermore, new macros can be created and assigned on the fly using the Master Record button. The Manticore also has 32KB of onboard memory, which the company says allows for as many as 20 keys to be pressed at the same time without any ghosting effect.
It also has a pair of USB ports built in so it can accommodate additional peripherals such as gamepads and joysticks.
Priced at $80, the GX Gaming Manticore keyboard is now available at North American retailers and online.
