Survival-horror video game 'The Evil Within' is developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks.
According to word from game publisher Bethesda Softworks, a new survival-horror game is in the works. Titled The Evil Within, the game is in development at Tango Gameworks under the direction of game designer and studio head Shinji Mikami He is a 20-year industry veteran who is best known as the father of the survival horror genre and creator of the Resident Evil series.
The Evil Within, in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and "next generation consoles", is slated for release in 2014.
"We're incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within," said Mikami. "My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action."
According to the game's official website, The Evil Within will feature highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story
that, when combined, create an immersive world designed to bring players to
the height of tension
The Evil Within has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
