A new palm-sized streaming digital media recorder designed specifically for gamers is on its way from AVerMedia.
Announced today, the Live Gamer Portable is a small USB box to record and stream HD gameplay for both gaming PC and console. According to the company, it features wide connectivity, hardware compression capability, and an intuitive user interface.
Designed capture device supporting video input up to 1080p@60fps, the Live Gamer Portable uses an on-board H.264 encoder. It has HDMI and component inputs as well as wide resolution support to make it compatible with computers both desktop and laptop, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.
