This replica of a Mayan Calendar Round represents Sept. 21, 2004, the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian. The calendar round is actually two separate calendars, or cycles, one cycle governs religious practices (260 days) and the other governs agricultural work (365 days).(Photo: Molly Stephey, Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian)

The end is nigh!

Okay, so maybe it's less the end of the world and more when the Mayan calendar ends and begins anew, but that's okay.  Either way, it's a great excuse to fire up your gaming system(s) one last time before the "end of the world".

We here at's Game Guys have compiled a small list of suggestions of some great post-apocalyptic titles for you to check out before the Mayan calendar does.
