One Button Studio, a small independent video game developer, today announced the beta launch of GunSwords, a free-to-play online squad-based, turn-based strategy (TBS) game for PC and Mac.
In the game, players must build and customize squads consisting of three specialized classes of armed tin soldiers: Swordsmen, Gunners, and Mages, each uniformed in a different armor style and possessing unique combat abilities. Once a squad is complete the player can battle opposing squads in a variety of hex-grid playing arenas. Featuring a unique art style with 3D graphics and a variety of weapons and spells for players to choose from, GunSwords offers challenging gameplay with endless possibilities for gamers to personalize squads and optimize play strategy.
"Today is a very exciting day for One Button Studio with the launch of our first free-to-play online game in beta", said Dmitry Mikhalev, CEO of One Button Studio. "Our team has dedicated countless hours of hard work to the development of this game, and we hope that fans of the TBS genre enjoy playing GunSwords as much as we have enjoyed creating, designing, and testing it".
The GunSwords beta is available today on Windows and online at: www.gunswords.com, where it can be played with either a PC or Mac. A Mac version of the game beta will be available in the coming week.
