According to a statement released Thursday morning from video game publisher Atlus, fighting game Persona 4 Arena is now available for digital purchase and download via Xbox LIVE Marketplace's Games on Demand Network for Xbox 360.

The company says they made the game available via Games on Demand to give players greater access to the 2D anime-style fighter in time for the upcoming Atlus Fighting Championships, set for Saturday, November 17th at the Super Arcade in the Los Angeles suburb of Walnut, California.

Furthermore, Level|Up is teaming with Atlus and game accessory maker Mad Catz to host a new event for the fighting game community that will feature a double header tournament with two of the hottest fighting game titles: Persona 4 Arena and The King of Fighters XIII.  The event will host a number of giveaways and prizes throughout the day with grand prizes awarded to the best fighters in attendance.  More details on the event can be found here:

Persona 4 Arena was made as a collaboration between Atlus' internal studio and fighting game developer Arc System Works.  The game is rated "T for Teen" by the ESRB.
